Wow, I think my blog is long overdue for an update, did you miss me?

It’s been almost two months since I last updated and boy do we have a lot of catching up to do! First and foremost on my mind is of course, No Excuses Summit II and a recap of how things went down. I intended to update this soon after the event (about a month ago…) but I got caught up with so many other things of course that well, it kept getting pushed back to until now.

No Excuses Summit II was good. We had about in total 900 people show up and put over 23+ of some of the biggest shakers and movers in the online marketing/home based business industry on stage. Speaking of the stage, did you see it?

It was inside the Pearl Concert Hall of the Palms Casino and, if I may say it, it was pretty bitchin’

For 2.5 days we had some of the best leaders and trainers on stage doing nothing but delivering killer content on stage – teaching the audience everything from web-design, driving traffic to their websites, talking to people on the phone, training their team, making sales, having the right mindset, search engine optimization (yours truly), and on and on.

Oh, and of course, we also got our partying on Hugh Hefner style ^^

We rented one of their 6,000 square feet sky villas for the VIPs and partied Saturday night.

Good times all around. I don’t want to get too much into the logistics here because well, it’s all been covered to death at the official website, No Excuses Summit (and you can go check out some of the behind the scenes look inside my album on Facebook or our NES fanpage).

Lives were transformed and impact was made – yaye! ?It made me proud to say that we were responsible for gathering 20+ of the top leaders in our industry with the sole goal of adding value to all in?attendance. And all of them performed so beautifully and?dutifully?- there’s a lesson to be learned in that… the more you care and give to others, the more that come back to you. They didn’t become top leaders by being selfish with their time, energy, knowledge, love; no, they became top leaders by caring, loving, and GIVING.

Don’t Miss the Big Picture

One thing that stood out to me was a couple of attendees actually got a bit upset after only a few hours of the event and demanded a refund. ?They came in looking for “online marketing” but instead, the speakers on stage delivered some other training instead (having more to do with offline). ?And before they even gave Saturday and Sunday a chance, they decided to ask for a refund.

We of course gave it to them but it made me think… some folks seem to be so focused and convinced that they SHOULD receive one thing that they miss out on all the “other” amazing things that come their way. ?In this case, they were looking for “online marketing” but in those few hours, they got “offline marketing” – just as powerful. And of course, they would’ve gotten more of BOTH if they held out for our event on Saturday and Sunday as well.

I think this is sort of life some times, when you are so focused on only looking for one thing that you miss out on all the other amazing things life may have to offer.

Be open minded and you’d be amazed at what may come you way
